The Everglades is a completely unique ecosystem sandwiched by massive metropolitan areas. Preserving it has been a dance between special monied interests, craven politicians, and environmentalists. This short doc interviews Michael Frank and Renee Manyari, two members of the Miccosukee Tribe's Otter Clan about how their lives are affected by pollution from Florida's agriculture industries. These are two people literally born from the glades. Special attention is also given to the place Native Americans have (or have been given) in modern US society, and if further reparations are deserved in the mind of the viewer.
