Major General (Retired), U.S Army Soldier, Statesman, Scholar and Humanitarian
Major General Bernard "Burn" Loeffke, is the first White House Fellow to reinitiate diplomatic relations with China and Russia. He is the founder of Helping Others Today, a practitioner of missionary medicine around the world, the author of numerous inspirational books and a distinguished soldier and statesman with an illustrious career in the United States Army. Though active in various roles, in all capacities Gen. Loeffke pursues one goal single-mindedly: the deescalation of diplomatic tensions between nations and the promotion of peace through international understanding, the facilitation of cultural exchange and humanitarian service. His 2014 film, US & China: A General's Dream, advances this same mission through cinema. His awards include the Purple Heart for  wounds in combat, Silver Stars and Bronze Stars for Valor.
